Our Story

Being the daughter of a carpenter, Susan Westling grew up tagging along behind her dad with a hammer in her hand.  She started off just making home décor pieces for family and friends, but was accepted into a nationwide vendor market in the spring of 2016 and Timber & Twine Designs was born.  

In the fall of 2018, Susan purchased a vintage travel trailer and completely restored it on her own with a farmhouse theme.  Once pictures of her camper started circulating, the requests for her assistance in interior decorating came flowing in through social media outlets.  Adding to her already established woodworking business, Susan launched the interior decorating leg of Timber & Twine Designs in the summer of 2020.

In addition to creating beautiful pieces for your home and meeting with clients on interior decorating needs, Susan also focuses on bringing your dated kitchens and bathrooms back to life by refurbishing your existing cabintry.  Using a self-bonding priming paint which offers an array of color choices, she prides herself on making your cabinets look new and fresh, while adding value to your home.

With a desire to help others create a welcoming home, Susan offers her products nationally and her services to the metro Atlanta, North Georgia Mountains, and South Walton, Florida areas.
